ON TRAVELLING: 8 TIPS ON HAVING A PERFECT AND FUN JOURNEY

@chrisisaiahphoto took a portrait of me last week Tuesday, I didn't expect to see it today but then....

Making blog post is such a big deal and I don't know why am just realising that, yesterday I didn't even have an idea of what post to put up and I'm grateful I got help from my readers on WhatsApp(you guys are the real MVPs) they picked this topic and I think it's a good one because this weekend is going to be really long and so many people will be travelling to their loved ones and if you are not, there's a post for you here.

Last week, I survived so let's do better this week, dancing is getting better, today while teaching a dance routine I was called a PRO - Lmfa(if only) and this weekend since it's a season of love “for God so love the world that he gave his only begotten son” emphasise on LOVE, I'd be giving freebies to everyone ordering virony pad - virony pad is a product I offer to keep myself and the blog going, do patronize me, buy for your loved ones, refer them - tell a friend to tell a friend(for only Uyo resident).

With the assistance of my boyfriend I've 8 tips for you;

MAKE A LIST

Make a list of what you'd be needing as you're travelling, put the important ones and scrap out the less important ones, that way you keep your bag light and easy to walk around with/carry about. It also helps you remember what you need to pack.

PACK YOUR BAG EARLY

If you don't want to rush at the last hour, or forget valuables, pack you bag days before travelling that way you'll carry every important thing, I can actually forget a lot (don't ask me, I don't know what I'm always thinking too) but when I pack days before the D-day, I keep asking myself if I've carried everything on my list and truth is I never forget a pin.

PACK YOUR VALUABLES DIFFERENT

Put your valuables like laptop, breakables, wallet etc on a different bag and hold onto it firmly, they've been cases of exchange of bags in the park and to avoid been stranded or heartbroken, hold your valuables and never lose guard for anything.

HAVE A GOOD REST BEFORE TRAVELLING

It doesn't matter if it's your first time going somewhere or not, it's just not advisable to sleep on a journey, be alert at all time, you never can tell, last month when I was travelling from Calabar to Uyo, I kept fighting nature - sleep (and no, it wasn't fun) because I didn't rest the day before, if you want to be comfortable and have fun when travelling, then rest the day before.

EAT BEFORE THE JOURNEY

This one is necessary gan! You need something in your stomach to be alert and synergistic but don't overeat too

DON'T FORGET SNACKS

I like to eat when I'm bored, it's fun and if you couldn't eat before getting on the bus then that's a good thing for you, it's better to pack your snacks yourself than buy from the roadside, this saves money and keep you less bored plus you won't have to wait for the driver to stop or inconvenience anyone and you'll know exactly what you're taking into your system.

KNOW YOUR ALLERGIES

To avoid discomforting such as running stomach e.t.c take only what your system can carry. In kizz Daniel voice no go do pass yourself.

TAKE A BOOK, EARPIECE AND SIT BY THE WINDOW

Not everyone loves to sit by the window but this is a priceless feeling, the cool breeze, the grasses, the trees and all, mehn! Reading an interesting novel is another fun thing to do while travelling and listening to music is the best. Never forget to put this in your valuable bag.

I'm sorry this post is coming late and I hope you enjoyed yourself, are your travelling home for the Easter break? Are these tips useful to you? Which is new to you and which will you be doing for the first time? The comment box is right below.

Ps: I want to thank myself for making this post, I was so lazy I didn't think I would.
